I stayed at Hotel in Commerce Center Taipei for three nights, and while the location was super convenient with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, I was disappointed that I had to pay for an extra night just for an early check-in. The room was on the smaller side with no view, but it was quiet despite being on a busy road. Breakfast was just a McDonald's muffin and coffee served to my room, which wasn't great, but the hotel had a cozy atmosphere and free internet access in the small lobby.

I had a pleasant stay at Elegance Hotel, a nice little boutique spot in Taipei. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished, and being just a block away from the train station is super convenient.
